Artist
Residency
India
A fully-sponsored residency for one artist — placed inside two of India's most creatively charged cities.
FAACII INC, a New York-based 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to advancing Indian art and culture, invites applications from emerging and mid-career artists worldwide for its inaugural Artist Residency India 2026. Working in partnership with Abode Boutique Hotels, FAACII will fully sponsor one selected artist for four weeks across Bombay and Jaipur — covering travel, accommodation, art materials, a living stipend, and visa support. The only requirement is your practice and your curiosity.
Two cities. One journey.

Zero cost to the selected artist.
Jaipur is not a backdrop — it is the material.
Three weeks embedded in the Walled City gives artists rare, sustained access to living craft traditions that continue to shape global visual culture.
Gems, Jewellery & Enamel
Jaipur is the world's gemstone capital. Generations of kundan jewellers and meenakari enamel artists work in the lanes of the old city — artisans whose techniques span centuries and whose ateliers are open to those who seek them.
Block Printing & Carpet Weaving
From the hand-block printers of Sanganer to the carpet weavers of the Walled City, Jaipur's textile traditions are a world of pattern, dye, and repetition — a visual vocabulary unlike any other.
Architecture & Street Life
Kishanpole sits minutes from Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar. The neighbourhood is alive with daily ritual, painted facades, and three centuries of architecture that has shaped India's visual identity.
Open to artists worldwide.
